May we take this opportunity to advise you of some details which may be of help and interest to you during your stay.

Reception can be contacted from your room telephone, please Dial 0.

Breakfast is served from 7am to 9.30am Monday to Friday and from 7.30am to 10am on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays. Please ensure that you book your preferred time with Reception.

Our Afternoon tea and Dinner menus are served daily in our restaurant. We would advise booking a table with Reception.

Bar service is available from 11am to 11pm. Residents may purchase drinks 24 hours, however once the bar has closed a limited range of drinks is available from our Night team.

Alarm calls
Please call Reception to book an early morning call.

Hairdryer and ironing facilities
A hairdryer, iron and ironing board can be found in your room, or available from Reception.

Pillows, towels and hotel toiletries
If you need extra pillows, towels or toiletries, please call Reception. We endeavour to be environmentally conscious, therefore only towels left in the bath tub/shower will be changed daily.

Hotel Wifi and internet
Please select ‘THE-LINCOLN-HOTEL-BAR-RESTAURANT’ to connect to our guest Wifi service. The password to connect to our Wifi is ‘lincolnhotel’.

Help with your luggage
If you require help with your luggage, please call Reception.

Laundry and dry cleaning
Please book your laundry and dry cleaning at Reception. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays or public and bank holidays.

If you need a taxi from the hotel, Reception can organise this for you. If you need a taxi before 10am, please contact Reception the evening prior to ensure availability.

Car parking
Car parking charges apply to non-residents and for overnight parking. The hotel does not accept responsibility for cars or property left in the car park.

Fire evacuation
As a matter of routine, please familiarise yourself with the procedures for evacuation in the event of fire or other emergency. The instructions for evacuation are to be found on, or adjacent to, your bedroom door.

Medical assistance
If you need medical assistance, in the first instance telephone Reception. If your needs are of an urgent nature or in the case of an emergency, please call Reception so that the emergency services can be contacted. The nearest Chemist is a two minute walk from the hotel, please ask Reception for directions.

Smoking policy
The Lincoln Hotel has a no smoking policy in all areas of the hotel, this includes bedrooms and balconies.

Checking out
We kindly advise our guests that check out time on the day of your departure is 11am at the latest.

Local information
The local tourist information office, the Cathedral, Castle and other local attractions are only a short walk away. More information is available at Reception.

Dinner menu

We offer an evening meal service in our Lounge. Our chefs have created number of dishes for you to choose from, all made with locally sourced produce. Please call on 01522 520348 for further details.


Afternoon tea

Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in the comfort of the Lounge, with a selection of delicate sandwiches, homemade cakes, a miniature dessert, a scone, and a pot of tea or coffee. We also offer a range of sandwiches and lite bites. Whether you have some time to yourself or you’re meeting a friend, our Lounge is the perfect way to spend an hour or two.


Sunday Lunch

Take it easy and dine with us for Sunday lunch. Enjoy a delicious roast with views of Lincoln Cathedral in our Lounge, available as two courses for £19 or three courses for £23.
