Really Good!

If you read the reviews that precede this you will get a very fair picture of the Lincoln Hotel. Parking was good, staff friendly on arrival and we were upgraded to a room with a balcony which was nice.

Yes the hotel is ugly, a bit like a 70’s South London Comprehensive School and it is amazing it got planning where it is – but you can’t see that when you are inside! The location of course is excellent for the town.

Rooms a little dated (except bathroom which was lovely) and very comfortable. Our price included dinner in the Green Room which again was surprisingly good, both excellent food and service. Breakfast was similarly excellent.

Room came with tea and coffee facilities but no free wi-fi. I find this very irritating in some hotels – ok maybe they can charge for a high speed link in your room; but free wifi in the lobby or business centre should come as standard.

Overall though excellent.
